Individual or Group Therapy is an opportunity to explore difficult emotions, unhelpful thinking styles or problematic behaviours in a safe non-judgemental environment. It’s a space to think about personal development and a place to focus upon changing any issues that you identify as problematic to you.

Individual Therapy

What we do in Individual therapy sessions?

We identify and try to understand the problem mainly using one or more of the following therapeutic approaches

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Psychodynamic Therapy
  • Person Centered Therapy.

Together we decide which therapeutic approach would benefit you at any given stages in your treatment. Please see Approaches tab for full details.
We create a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore your difficulties.

We set goals for therapy and actively work towards those goals.
We identify and implement appropriate tools and techniques that may assist you to move beyond any limiting beliefs or negative behavioural patterns.

We meet regularly and monitor and validate progress in the sessions.

We try to understanding any difficulties that arise in the session and explore its relevance, if any, outside of the session.

We may set up tasks for you to complete outside of the session that are in line with resistance towards and management of, any unhelpful behaviours and thought processes.

Techniques are used to increase awareness or to enable other choices of thought, feeling or action to increase self-control. This will allow you to better manage discomfort or distress by understanding causes and patterns which impact on your present life.

Group Therapy workshops

What we do in Group Therapy Workshops?

We use a psycho-educational and integrative approach to understanding specific issues such as Assertiveness, anger management and self-esteem issues or other mental health difficulties.

We teach therapeutic skills to reduce unhelpful behaviour, and improve mood management.

We offer and encourage interactive discussion within a safe group environment

We run one off workshops or workshops in series.
