Mood and Well-being CBT workshop starting in June 2016! Simms Psychological Services is running a CBT workshop for people who experience difficulties with mood fluctuations and anxiety and stress. CBT is an evidence based treatment for issues with anxiety, stress and mood fluctuation. This workshops aims to teach you evidence based skills and techniques that you can use to improve your mood and reduce anxiety. The CBT workshops will take place in Islington, London (venue to be confirmed) and will take place over two sessions. The first session will start on Saturday the 11th June from 10.30am – 4pm, and will cover the main principles of CBT and the various skills you can use to improve your mood. You are then encourage to practice this skills for a month before we invite you back for a follow-up session on Saturday the 9th July from 10.30am – 2pm. The follow-up session will explore any improvements in your mood, any difficulties you had in using the skills offered and further treatment options. The cost of the workshop is £130 for both sessions. (Early bird bookings before the 16th of April will receive a £10 discount).
